Celebrating Our Beauty on Independence Day

Every July 4th we get excited for fireworks, sparklers, BBQs, and, of course, Red, White, and Blue.

At DashBar, we can’t help but also think about prepping our 4th of July style, so this Independence Day we’re sharing our favorite social media trends that even Lady Liberty would be proud of.

Upgrade your mani-pedi.

Themed mani-pedis are a festive way to celebrate any holiday. You can be adventurous, bold, and bright or subtly chic, make your mani a true expression of your 4th of July style.

Stars and Stripes

What says Happy Birthday America more than a red and white striped mani. Make it even bolder with color-blocked stripes, or clean with thin lines.

For a modern take on stars, use gold sequin stars on white polish. This creates a crisp, minimalistic finish that is sure to impress.

Red, white, and Tie-Dye

This year’s most prominent fashion trend is tie-dye, so why not add the trend to your nails. Tie-dye is very forgiving, so it’s a great trend to try at home.

Classic Red

You can never go wrong with a red mani-pedi, especially for July 4th.  After all, it’s a classic for a reason, so why change it?

Let your hair shine.

Your hair can pull your whole look together. Whether you want a style that only takes 5 minutes or one that is a little more involved, we’ve got you covered.

Accessorize

A headband, bandana, or scarf are the perfect accessory, and they are having a real social media moment. This Independence Day, we love a flag-inspired headband with stars and stripes, or a vintage red bandana.

You can quickly throw one on if your hair is in a messy bun or down with loose waves and be on your way.

Try a Braid

When it comes to summer, braids are always in.  They add that little something extra to every outfit. Whether you’re wearing your favorite cut-off shorts, maxi, or swimsuit cover-up, a tousled braided headband takes it to the next level.

Have a safe and happy 4th of July!

We can’t wait to see you try some of these 4th of July styles, so don’t forget to tag @thedashbar if you post them on social media!
