Self-care is Important to Staying Healthy & Beautiful

Since we are spending more time at home and less time together, we can use this opportunity to recharge and re-energize our body and soul. Taking time to focus on self-care can help relieve stress and anxiety, as well as boost your mood, confidence, and beauty.   

At DashBar, our mission focuses on both the beauty and wellness of our incredible clients. So although we can’t wait to help pamper all of our DashBabes at the DashBar Brickell location soon, we want to help you have your best possible self-care routine at home until then.   

We put together our favorite ways for you can focus on recharging your body and soul while at home.  

Breathe easy.   

Even though you are at home, you can still breathe in some much-needed fresh air. Opening your windows will increase the air quality in your home, and help to boost your mood.  

We also suggest diffusing calming essential oils like lavender, bergamot, or chamomile. These oils may help to ease any stress and anxiety while promoting relaxation.   

Take a walk.   

Exercise is a great way to keep your mind and body healthy. Did you know that it can help improve your mood and energy levels? A 20-30 minute walk or jog can do wonders for your well-being. Plus, it would also be a great time to phone your best DashBabe and catch up!   

Treat yourself to a self-care night.   

While we can’t wait to take care of you at DashBar Brickell, you can take the time to give yourself a relaxing facial and mani-pedi at home.  

We recommend a luxurious bath for at least 20 minutes, paired with a face mask. Keep it simple and try a non-toxic sheet mask that is hydrating for an extra glow. The heat from the bath will help to open your pores, allowing the active ingredients from the mask to sink further into your skin.  

After your bath, don’t forget to moisturize so your skin stays luminous from head to toe. You can easily enhance your existing body cream by mixing it with a bit of coconut oil in the palm of your hand. Finally, paint your fingers and toes with the perfect spring pink.  

Now that you are fully relaxed, you can curl up with a good book or movie while sipping some herbal tea.
